There is a lot that the bigger church of Rome olive tree can learn from its little Anglican offshoot which I can vouch for as an northern irish RC cguy who entered into marriage with an english C of E girl some 25 years ago. It may well save the RC Church from self-destruction and/or societal irrelevance more than it does the Anglican Church. I suspect the old and canny Pope Benedict is only too aware of this.
